Created in collaboration with Mert Gencer (lowkolos), Untold Story is a single-channel audio-visual animation that explores the complex relationship between human identity and the use of masks. The project examines how masks—whether physical, digital, or invisible—act as tools for social beings to both conceal and reveal the self. By utilizing an avatar as the central character, the work investigates the role of masks in creating prismatic identities within digital spaces.
The narrative focuses on the internal search for true nature amidst an abundance of diverse masks, questioning if these digital layers complicate or aid the process of self-discovery. The accompanying audio track features a single female voice, meticulously altered to generate multiple distinct character voices, further emphasizing the theme of multifaceted identity.
