NAOWAO is a Japanese multidisciplinary artist and 3D designer based in Tokyo. Her practice spans 3D animation, sculpture, installation, and print—bridging the digital and physical through myth, memory, and ritual.
Her ongoing universe “AO – Awakening Overload” explores grief and transformation through digital creatures, mythical worlds, and handcrafted artifacts. Moving fluidly between commercial and independent projects, she combines technical precision with poetic storytelling, shaping a world where emotion and technology coexist.
Drawing from backgrounds in film production and digital fashion, her works evoke spiritual narratives that dissolve boundaries between virtual and tangible realities.
