This project introduces the main character of the AO (Awakening Overload) universe, a marine-inspired being navigating the primordial landscapes of Iceland. Designed to embody the fluidity of the ocean, the character features sea anemone-style hair and intricate patterns inspired by nudibranchs. This digital travelogue serves as a narrative exploration of the character's journey through an environment defined by the "ancient pulse" of the Earth.
The travelogue documents the character’s presence across various geological sites, from the volcanic fissures of Hverir to the black sand beaches of Reynisdrangar. As glaciers melt and landscapes reshape, the character serves as a focal point for observing an environment in constant transition. The narrative focuses on this quiet interaction, reflecting on how life adapts to a planet in a state of continuous flow.
