A first toy fair for Awakening Overload — Taipei Toy Show 2026.
The creatures of AO found an audience far broader than expected — collectors across every line of gender, age, and style subculture. Visitors gathered the figures into their own little friend groups and families on the table.
Conversations happened in English, through translation apps, and by pointing at the displays — and somehow it worked perfectly. Dozens of times across the four days, the same moment repeated: someone picks up a figure and their face changes. A small intake of breath. The eagerness to show a friend.
