This project is an A6, 24-page conceptual art zine exploring the Fool archetype as a ritual beginning—Zero as a doorway where memory, grief, and transformation restart. This digital version is a high-resolution scan of the original printed edition, carefully preserving the tactile texture, ink quality, and slight imperfections that define the physical copy.
Drawing inspiration from Western and Eastern symbolism alongside 90s game culture, the Fool is reimagined as a player-character navigating life with curiosity, intuition, and beginner’s luck. The narrative follows Rune through symbolic landscapes, gathering items, meeting guides, and unlocking hidden memories. The motif of the circle repeats throughout the pages as a symbol of renewal, play, and the inevitable return to the start of the journey.
