During a period as 3D Designer at Marvelous Designer, these garments were developed as mood images for the first JP Community Contest. The project was part of a strategic initiative to engage and activate the Japanese user base through high-fidelity visual storytelling and technical demonstration.

The focus of this entry was the mechanics of tension and flow within traditional attire. The process involved the strategic use of pins and pleats to recreate the specific structural behavior and crisp geometry of a traditional school ribbon.

This garment was designed for a subsequent contest, balancing urban mobility with a soft, layered aesthetic inspired by Tokyo’s nighttime environment. To achieve the lightweight volume of the silhouette, the Layer Clone Over and puffer effects were utilized. The final character was rendered in Cinema 4D using Redshift to emphasize the contrast between subtle fabric textures and glowing details.
